These 635 nm red modules are what is inside of our 635nm red laser pointers. The pointers were rejected by our stringent QA department for not having a dot with the desired precision that we insists upon. They are still quite usable, and will make an excellent source to learn about lasers and the associated electronics. A schematic of the driver board will be included. It is accurate, except for the fact that no component values are shown. Here is a chance to experiment with lasers at a very low cost. 

Just connect +3 to 3.5 volts to the spring and keep in mind, however, that the case of the module will be connected to the positive terminal of your power supply.
